On the 3rd of November, COMRE students had a great opportunity to visits Danish Crown’s headquarters in Randers.
Danish Crown is one of the world’s largest exporters and one of Europe’s largest producers of pork. The Danish Crown Group is also the largest meat-processing company in Europe, and is also a key player in the European beef market. The company has production in Denmark, UK, several European countries and China, and have market access to more than 130 countries around the world.
The company has an ambitious vision to deliver a climate neutral production by 2050. As the company tries to take responsibility in all parts of the meat production process, sustainability is the main focus.

Firstly, the students were given a presentation about the company’s journey, its values and future goals. The presentation was followed by a small knowledge quiz and and an interactive game, where students could find out more about the different production processes.
The second presentation focused more on the company’s sustainability goals, which was followed by a series of questions from the students. Anja Panić, one of the participants, said that she “appreciated how enthusiastic Danish Crown is about Commercial and Retail Management program.” She also enjoyed that “we learned more about how Danish Crown operates and what values the company is based on.”
The goal of this event was to allow the students to interact with Danish Crown, find out more information about the company’s values as well as its work culture. The event was a great success and we are looking forward to planning more in the future. A big thank you to Danish Crown for hosting this great event and to all the students who joined us.
